Based in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Kyle Kirkpatrick (they/them) brings a queer, non-binary perspective to acoustic folk and country music. Kyle has forged a singular style, defined by a soulful vocal presence and a blending of jazzy back porch pickin’ with down-home slide guitar. Their distinct sound is effortless and unhurried, drawing in listeners with solo guitar and dobro performances. Through honest songwriting and thoughtful interpretations of traditional material, Kyle’s music is shaped by lived experience that works to carve out space and belonging for rural 2SLGBTQ+ voices in Canada.

Kyle Kirkpatrick's debut solo album St Clarens Ramble features a collection of original instrumental tunes and traditional songs for the Dobro and Weissenborn guitars.
